I looked several times before finding something I thought was suitable, suitable meaning some sort of a view, more or less square in shape and within easy double click distance from a road.
I finally found the perfect parcel. It was 144 sq m, (12 by 12) on a Mature sim for sale at the outrageous price of 20 L per sq m, but I figured why not, so I bought it.
A parcel that size only has 49 prims available, but I had an idea for a low prim version of an old build that I'd wanted to try for some time. Years ago I built a tower, it was probably 50 prims, so obviously I couldn't use it here.

But I always loved the design and layout, so I decided to resurrect it using sculpted prims.
New improved sculpted prim version |
I built it for a total count of 12 prims, including the concrete base and an invisible cylinder prim to keep from walking thru the walls. It has two floors, the lower on being a social area, the upper containing an orgy couch. The top deck has a couple of beach blankets for laying out in the sun.

After furnishing it, I still have 10 prims available.
View from the ground, with me for scale |
The view from the top is fantastic, and it's possible to double click into one of the LL cars that travels along the nearby road.
I don't get why people need large properties and hundreds or even thousands of prims to make their dream come true. I could be quite happy with just this small corner of second life to call home.
