Chess Anyone?

Phleur wanted to play a game last night, but I was bored with gammon, so I suggested chess.

I found us a chess club to go to. Neither of us had played in years,

It was a good game, until Phleur made a mistake and gave up her queen.

I offered to let her take it back, but she said no its fine.

I few minutes later I told her she could resign if she wanted, since a resign is as good as a check mate.

We agreed that we should play more often.

I decided I wanted my own chess set. I have one but its ancient and a lot of prims. The one we played on was like $900 L and no copy.

I found a cool mesh one for $10 L. It was 9 prims rezzed but i wanted it bigger, so I stretched it and it ended up being 18 prims. Not bad for a nice big board.

I set it on a cube and rezzed some chairs.

Now we are all set.

Chess anyone?

Coffee and Cream at Cafe' Cum Cum

I went to Cafe' Cum Cum the other morning to go afk and wait for Phleur. She was on LL public land and I was locked naked.

When I got back a customer imed me asking for service.

I wasn't on duty but thought why not. The customer told me to join him on the donut stool, and I did.

A few minutes later Phleur showed up, and I said, lookie what I found.

Phleur was very pleased and gave me a big smile.

He filed me good, he got his coffee and I got my morning cream.

I had to leave much too soon, but I thanked him profusely.

Banned Again

I received a 24 hour ban, yet again, for a forum post.

-------

This email is notification of action regarding your Second Life account, BilliJo Aldrin, for violation of the Second Life Terms and Conditions or Community Standards.

Violation: Forum Informal Warning: Spamming, Trolling, Flaming

We edited your recent post in the Second Life Forums which violated our Community Standards (available here: https://www.lindenlab.com/legal/community-standards).

Violation: Spamming, Trolling, Flaming
We believe in an honest and open free exchange of ideas, and in always maintaining a respect for the opinions and positions of other people. However, Flaming (posting a message that is intended to incite anger or directly attack a person or persons), Spamming (multiple posts of the same topic or discussion, off-subject posting, or advertising contrary to Guidelines), and Trolling (a post with an intentionally contrary opinion written with the intent of inciting or getting argumentative opinions) are not allowed in the Second Life Forums

Action:
As a result of this violation, your Second Life account is being temporarily suspended for a period of 1 days. It will return to active status on Tuesday, October 06, 2020.

------

Naturally they don't tell you what exactly you did.

It's probably because I called out Patch Linden on a different thread that he posted to me on.

Never never never trust a guy that wears mouse ears.

Girls with animal ears... tres cute, guys with animal ears... its just so wrong.

So once again, I vow to leave the forums for good and never post again.

I wish they could explain how they justify a second life in world ban for a forum violation, it makes no sense, but their platform, their rules.

 Whacha think?

LL Deletes Forum Thread

A linden locked my thread on land cutting, and then went to the mainland parcels for sale forum and deleted a thread I started selling my micro parcels.

LL really hates micro parcels, even though they say in their wiki that they are useful and necessary.

The schizophrenia regarding ad parcels knows no bounds, on one hand saying they are fine, but on the other hand saying they will move them if anyone complains about them, even if they follow all the rules.

Some people complain about mainland being wide open with no rules, but I'm starting to realize that mainland is suffocated under an endless often contradictory TOS.

At least on an estate, the rules are clear concise and simple, AND you don't have to worry about being suspended or banned from Second Life for breaking them.

In LL's Cross Hairs Again

I started a SL forum thread about subdividing micro parcels for resale. Of course that infuriated the forum worthies who I'm sure reported the thread.

Patch Linden himself posted in the thread that cutting ANY parcel for resale is a violation of the rules.

A further reading of the wiki showed that LL can at any time transfer any microparcel that is interfering with the owner of a larger parcel's enjoyment of Second Life.

Thus my signs could be the subject of endless ar's by whiney neighbors.

Policy Prohibiting Land-Cutting

In general residents are welcome to subdivide larger parcels of land that they occupy into smaller parcels. Subdivision is considered "land cutting" when a resident extensively subdivides land into smaller parcels for the purpose of further "renting" or "selling" those parcels — and it is not allowed. Other prohibited land cutting includes subdividing land in a manner that decreases the ability of other residents to enjoy their land, collaborate and/or exercise land-management controls, or in a way that constitutes harassment of another resident. Linden reserves the right to make parcel alternations as necessary to ensure residents’ enjoyment of Second Life. We want to keep Second Life beautiful too.

We therefore may, in our sole discretion, move any parcel of land that is smaller than or equal to 128 sqm where such land is interfering with the enjoyment of a significantly larger parcel of land or region.

As a result, I've concluded that the only way to be safe is to sell ALL my old Trump 2020 parcels.
