Soon I'll have all the furniture back and we will be all ready to go.

I laid a new subfloor over the swastika tiles and set out pallets of new tiles to put down.
I might go with heavy duty carpet in some areas, just not sure yet.

My monument honoring the sacrifices made by Southerners in the war of Northern Aggression was of course returned.
And naturally anything that had the Southern Cross on it. Interestingly, the Great Seal of the Confederacy was also returned.
I remarked to my friend Kaboom that if my club was a RP sim, the items might have been spared.
So anyway, renovations are underway and we will be fully open soon.

I got back to my place, they seemed kind of hit and miss about what they returned.
They returned my swastika windows, one set was attached to the wall, so I had to re rezz it and take out the offending parts.
I make no apologies for incorporating swastikas into my work, the swastika has existed for thousands of years, and is still used all over the world They have nothing to do with Nazis, and neither do mine.
I designed my windows with an eastern feel, since I've seen similar layouts in many pictures.
I took out the windows then put the wall back on my building, and put up some plywood to block the large holes in the walls.
In the main hall, the windows were separate from the wall, so all i needed to do was put up some plywood.
I wandered around looking to see what they had missed. On the south wall was a large faded Southern Cross, so I painted over it, to prevent being ared again by someone else.
I saw that the swastika tiles on the floors and on the balcony faces hadn't been returned, which was a good thing, because if they had been returned I'd have lost half my building if they were connected to the walls.
I got the inspiration for the tiles on a trip to Washington DC a couple of years ago, Everywhere you look there are swastika patterns in the floor and walls.

I'll put an underlay over the tiles and lay a different non threatening pattern, perhaps care bears and smiley faces

Also, a large rug I had purchased on Market Place was undisturbed.
I left it there, but I'll probably pick it up next time, because you never know.
While there, I redid my window sculpt, changing the swastika to a series of straight lines.
All safe and non offensive.
Its hard to believe that a few items could be declared to be so horrible offensive and hateful that it might prevent someone from enjoying their second life because it "marginalizes, belittles, or defames individuals or groups (and) inhibits their ability to take part in a satisfying exchange of ideas and diminishes the community as whole.
It does explain one thing though. There was a rather large puddle in my main hall a couple of days before I was suspended. I thought there had been a water line leak, but now I realize, the puddle was from melting snowflakes.
Tomorrow I'll post pictures of the rest of the items that were returned.

My initial reaction to LL banning me for 3 days and returning items from my club, was to say fuck them, sell my land and drop to basic, but on cooler reflection I have decided not to do that. I really can't imagine being in Second Life without having a home, and I'm rather fond of my place, so I deleted the posts saying I was dumping my land.
Sorry Mikey, can you at least put the pool back?

If you picked up all your stuff, you should know by now how mercurial I am, and just wait 24 hours, because I'll probably change my mind.
I can't wait to get back to my club and asses the damage the Philistines from LL have done.
We will repair the mess, replacing damaged elements with more socially acceptable substitutes and move on.
We already commissioned a new sign for over the front door
and have contracted skilled artisans to replace the destroyed stained glass windows in Confederate Hall, with a non triggering version.
We won't replace the plaque on the vandalized Confederate monument, but instead leave the obelisk blank as a silent tribute to the destruction of free speech and free thought.
Its funny though, if we did repurpose our club as a tribute to American Freedom, will that further incite the woke retards that populate Second Life?
Because today, America itself is considered to be pure evil, irredeemable, and any heros of our glorious past are demonized and removed from the public square.
The media laughed when President Trump wondered that if we remove the statues of General Lee today, will the mob demand the removal of Washington and Jefferson tomorrow?
Unfortunately his prediction came true, and our whole history is now subject to erasure by the leftist BLM and antifa, with cowering corporations and pandering politicians more than willing to do the lefts bidding.

A day later and they are still finding stuff to send back.
Whatever, I'll get anything you guys missed when I get back inworld on Saturday.
On further consideration I might not abandon my land, instead I might repurpose my club.
Since I'm no longer allowed to commemorate the Lost Cause of Southern Independance, I might instead dedicate my place to the almost Lost Cause of American Freedom, and those values enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
The dems are doing their best to destroy everything America stands for, but they haven't succeeded yet.
All they are really doing is stiffening the resolve of all those people who actually believe in what America is about.. among other things Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
The alliance of democrats, leftist elites and the internet oligarchs is growing stronger all the time, but hope is not yet entirely lost, and the one man that can lead us is down, but he is not yet out, and in 2024 will be back, stronger than ever.

| Someone finally noticed I have a confederate themed club, and LL returned all the "offensive" items. |
